Gary Monaco will be demonstrating his primitive wood carving technique in the lobby of the Great Plains Art Museum. Participants can learn the basics of hand carving, and how Great Plains culture and environmentally conscience beliefs can be used to create work. He will demonstrate how he re-purposes natural materials to create his figures. The event is free and open to the public.
