The Great Plains Art Museum will feature two exhibitions, a build-your-own hot chocolate bar and holiday cookies during Lincoln’s Friday Art Walk, 5 to 7 p.m. Dec. 1.

Exhibitions on display include “Collection Critters” and “Collection Nebraska.”

“Collection Critters” showcases Great Plains animals in sculpture, prints, photographs, paintings and stereo views. All artworks on display are part of the museum’s permanent collection.

This will be the final First Friday event for “Collection Nebraska.” The exhibition includes artworks from the permanent collection that depict Nebraska or were created by Nebraska artists.

The museum store will also offer an end-of-the-year sale, including selected books for $5.
