When moviemakers use drug discovery to drive a movie’s narrative, it can influence the public’s understanding of this process. In this presentation, you will watch clips from five movies that demonstrate several stages of drug discovery. Each clip is followed by a brief explanation of the actual process of drug discovery. Presented by Dr. Mark Griep, associate professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
