Are you interested in communicating your science effectively to public audiences in informal settings? Do you want to learn about and practice techniques to enhance your communication practice?

Led by University of Nebraska State Museum staff trained in informal science education, the workshop will leverage best practices from Portal to the Public—a national organization dedicated to connecting public audiences with science in their own communities—to help scientists more effectively communicate their science to the public.

The workshop is free and open to University of Nebraska faculty, and a complimentary lunch will be provided. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-seated basis.
