Experimental designs are considered “gold standards” in intervention research. However, we often need to randomize treatment and comparison groups at a clustered level (e.g., classrooms, schools).

Dr. Katherine (Kat) Cheng, postdoctoral research associate at the Nebraska Center for Research on Children, Youth, Families and Schools, and trainee of the 2018 IES Summer Research Training Institute at Northwestern University, will be sharing with us fundamentals of the purpose, methods, and standards to cluster-randomized trials in educational research.
