“To Pluto and Beyond with New Horizons,” with Dr. Nathaniel Cunningham, associate professor at Nebraska Wesleyan University.
In January, NASA’s New Horizon’s spacecraft will fly by the mysterious outer-solor-system body nicknamed “Ultima Thule.” Approximately four billion miles from Earth, this is the farthest space probe flyby in history. Come learn about New Horizon’s most recent close encounter in the Kuiper Belt.
Free event for ages 21+. Cash bar available. Food available for purchase from the The Gilded Swine.
