Recent events have highlighted ongoing trade wars between the United States and countries abroad. But what does that mean on a global scale? Are trade wars a recent phenomenon or have they occurred before? How might this affect U.S. relations to Japan, in particular that Nebraska has strong business ties to the country? Find out the answers to these questions and more at this lecture presentation by Wes Peterson, a University of Nebraska–Lincoln agricultural economics professor. After the presentation, there will be a brief Q&A to further explore this interesting and timely topic.
