Join us for Dr. Rachael Ball’s presentation on the politics of theater in the early modern Spanish world. Dr. Ball is associate professor of history at the University of Alaska-Anchorage and her research focuses on early modern Spain, England, and the Atlantic World. She especially writes on the intersection of popular culture and theater in these contexts. Dr. Ball is also a poet with publications in such journals as Cirque, Foliate Oak, Longleaf Review, Moonchild Magazine, and NatureWriting.
