This event will teach beekeepers about different honey bee plants to use in both home landscapes and around properties. We will be installing a pollinator garden at Kimmel Orchard and discussing the structure, layout, species in the plantings and their role in the larger ecosystem of home landscapes.
$10 for members of the Great Plains Master Beekeeping program

Additional Public Info:
On the second Saturday of every month, the learning series will teach education credits on topics from the Great Plains Master Beekeeping program. The learning series will provide knowledge gain on curriculum not covered in basic workshops and will expand on specific subjects. Learning series courses are two hours long and feature hands-on activities, lecture, and Q&A.
