Pressbooks is a simple book production software, which can be used to publish textbooks, and other digital content, for your courses. It is freely available to all University faculty, staff, and students through our Unizin membership. If you have authored content, identified parts of an “open” textbook you’d like to use, or compiled digital open educational resources and would like to present them in a textbook format, you might want to explore this tool. Pressbooks content can be easily added to Canvas courses and exported to multiple formats, including:

• MOBI (for Kindle ebooks)
• EPUB (for all other ebookstores)
• Designed PDF (for print-on-demand and digital distribution)
