An informational webinar about a new training program for community-engaged research partners is scheduled for Feb. 23, at 11 a.m.-noon.
Due to federal and institutional policies, UNL community-based research partners are often required to complete human subjects protection training. The new CIRT program was developed for professionals from non-academic settings who do not have an understanding of research methods or research experience, including community agencies, health care delivery organizations, public health departments and schools.
CIRT was designed by the Center for Clinical and Translational Science at the University of Illinois Chicago.
IRB staff will discuss CIRT for the first 20 minutes of the webinar. Participants can then ask questions about any other IRB-related topics.
Registration is not required. Join the webinar here: https://unl.zoom.us/j/99094665230#success
