The Lied Center for Performing Arts, Lied Center Piano Circle and Glenn Korff School of Music will host the fourth annual Lied Center Piano Academy July 11-15.
The academy is designed for students entering grades 9 through their first year of college. The artistic director is Paul Barnes, the Marguerite Scribante Professor of Piano in the Glenn Korff School of Music.
“I’m especially excited about the 2022 Lied Center Piano Academy as I’m serving in my second year as artistic director,” Barnes said. “We will be welcoming 16 academy fellows to our beautiful campus.”
The 16 academy fellows will present a final recital on Friday, July 15 at 3pm in Westbrook Recital Hall Rm. 119. The recital is free and open to the public.
