We continue the conversation among teachers of color about culture, climate, community, and working towards social justice. The demographics of Nebraska are changing, and so are the state’s teachers. In the last few years, we have also been challenged by the pandemic, inspired by the continuing racial justice movements, and troubled by the resurgence of white supremacy. You are NOT alone.

• Help us build a professional network of dedicated educators from across Nebraska

• Share ideas for collaboration, activism, and self-care

• Share your best ideas for meeting the needs of Nebraska’s diverse students

There is no cost associated with registration but please register so we can keep you informed. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided.

The Nebraska Teachers of Color Summit would like to acknowledge the sponsorship of: the Department of Teaching, Learning, and Teacher Education, the Department of Child, Youth, and Family Studies, the College of Education and Human Sciences, and the M3 Initiative.
