Out of the Darkness UNL, a registered student organization, is hosting a walk for suicide prevention on Sunday, April 30th from 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm. Check-in will start at 11:00 am outside of the City Campus Union. There will be a silent auction, food and drinks, and AFSP merchandise for sale. You can register as an individual or as a group, and donate on our homepage. Our goal for the event is to raise $13,000. You can create your own fundraiser or Facebook Fundraiser, which will feed into our collective goal, and if you raise $100 or more, you get a free t-shirt. All proceeds raised will go the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

Out of the Darkness is a student organization that aims at raising mental health awareness and suicide prevention. Our walk for suicide prevention is an annual fundraiser that encourages members of the community to join students and AFSP members in walking from the Union to the Capitol.
