Join us at the Nebraska Bluegrass Concert Series for live music in the plaza at Nebraska Innovation Campus! Concerts are free and open to the public. Come eat, drink & have fun!

Food/drink available for purchase @ 5:00 p.m. Tours of Nebraska Innovation Studio, the makerspace located at NIC, will be offered @ 5:30 p.m. Concerts @ 6:00 p.m. There will be some seating but guests are highly encouraged to bring their own lawn chair. Our concerts will not be rescheduled if there is bad weather. Instead, we will move inside to The Mill Coffee & Bistro.

Fall 2023 Line Up: September 6 - The Cleverlys with The McGovern Stringband. September 13 - John Jorgenson Bluegrass Band with The Wildwoods. September 20 - Appalachian Road Show with The Shucks Brothers.

The Cleverlys are a one-of-a-kind comedy/music blend. Digger Cleverly along with this nephews, Lloyd, DVD, Bear, and Quattro make up The Cleverlys. They tour nationally, performing at music venues, PAC’S, and some of the nation’s largest festivals like Stagecoach, Telluride, CMA Music Fest and even The Grand Ole Opry. Don’t be fooled by this faux-family band- they are all accomplished musicians putting their unique bluegrass spin on cover songs from any genre.

The McGovern Stringband is an acoustic americana and bluegrass all string band – featuring the vocals of father & son, Kelly McGovern (guitar) and Brian McGovern (mandolin). The McGovern String Band combines a wide variety of genres with a bluegrass style that is anchored by the Nebraska Performing Arts Hall of Fame inductees: bass player and vocalist Dave Morris and Fuzzy Blazek on dobro steel, along with the great Daren Blythe on 5 string banjo.
