Kim Conaty, Steven and Ann Ames Curator of Drawings and Prints at the Whitney
Museum of American Art, will discuss Edward Hopper and her research for the recent
Whitney exhibition “Edward Hopper’s New York,” which she organized. Sheldon loaned the
Hopper painting “Room in New York” to the Whitney for the exhibition and now celebrates
the work’s return with “Sheldon Treasures: Edward Hopper and His Contemporaries.”
