Tyler Waye is an international leadership and work strategist who has spent the last decade investigating the emerging patterns of work that shape our careers and organizations. He is Managing Partner of Motiversity – the world’s largest motivational media group, and Co-Founder of Mindset App.

After completing a year of intensive research around the world, living in 15 countries to explore influences into the future of work, Tyler now shares and practices his ground-breaking insights across numerous projects that include technology startups, executive education, international presentations, and The Icons podcast.

Tyler teaches university programs in leadership, strategy, teamwork, and change at several post-secondary institutions. He co-founded YoungLeaders.World, a multi-national youth leadership organization that has worked with over 25,000 people across the globe, and attention is on helping all people develop applicable skill sets, mindsets, and competencies to navigate the changing nature of work.

Tyler holds a Master of Arts in Leadership, authored the ground-breaking book “I Went to School That Long for This?!,” and was named Top 40 Under 40 by Avenue Magazine.

Hosted by the College of Business and College of Law and sponsored by the Harris Family and GlaxoSmithKline, the Harris Lecture is free and open to the public. The Harris Lecture Series is designed to bring renowned business experts to campus to engage students, faculty, business members and the community. This series promotes ongoing discussion and examination of major policy issues that affect the relationship between business and community, as well as business and government in today’s economy.
