Darrell Everhart has 30+years experience in baseball from his Division I days as a middle infielder at Iowa State University to the Minor Leagues, Independent Leagues, and to his current role as Head Coach of the Gretna East Baseball team. The founder of Empowered Baseball Academy, Darrell was Head Coach of the US Navy & Military All Star Baseball Team and Coach for the USA International Baseball Team America—Dominican Republic Tour.
In his life outside baseball, Darrell is a Retired 25-year Captain in the U.S. Navy and holds an M.S. from the University of Missouri in Education, Curriculum, and Instruction. He is former Interim Director of First-Year Experience & Transition and founding Director of the Military & Veteran Success Center, both at the University of NE-Lincoln.
