This study, which was funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration, examines the impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on remote work and space needs for businesses in select Nebraska service sectors. Those service sectors include finance, information, professional and technical services, business services, and educational support services. Goods-producing businesses, wholesale and retail trade, transportation businesses, and healthcare businesses are not included in the study.

Data about attitudes towards remote work and changing space needs was gathered based on a survey of businesses, the Nebraska Commercial Real Estate Survey.

Eric Thompson, department chair and Karl H. Nelson Professor of Economics, and the director of the Bureau, and Mitch Herian, project director at the Bureau, will host this webinar session. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions and share their thoughts during the Q&A session.
