We hope you’ll join students, faculty, and fellow alumni for the annual Women’s Law Caucus Annual Charity Auction! Formerly the Susan B. Anthony Charity Auction, members of the Women’s Law Caucus have renamed the auction the “Dean Anna Shavers Memorial Auction,” in memory of former dean and professor, Anna Shavers. This year’s event takes place March 2 at the Rococo Theatre (140 N 14th St) from 7:00-10:00 p.m.
The auction supports Voices of Hope and the Friendship Home, both great resources for women facing domestic violence. It also supports the Nebraska Public Interest Law Fund (NPILF), which helps support public interest minded law students as they pursue careers in areas highly needed in the community that may not be able to offer paid opportunities. Additionally, a portion of the profits will be donated to the scholarship that has been created in Dean Shavers’ name.
