The 2024 Summer Soybean Institute is set for May 29-30 and July 16-18 at West Central Research, Extension, and Education Center and on University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s East Campus. Twenty middle school and high school teachers will explore why do we grow so many soybeans in Nebraska.
Teachers will obtain the tools to help their students become soybean enthusiasts through the exploration and inquiry of the Nebraska Soybean Story. Content experts from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, the Nebraska Soybean Board and local teacher leader collaboratives will lead the sessions. Teachers will learn and apply systematic thinking to gain an understanding of the soybean as a system.
