“BENCHMARKING THE ENERGY INTENSITY OF SMALL NEBRASKA WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANTS”

Energy consumption has become an increasing concern for small wastewater treatment plants. Energy usage and other plant characteristics were collected from small Nebraska wastewater plants to create energy benchmarking models. The results allow plants to compare energy usage among peers and show what factors most significantly affect energy usage at small wastewater treatment plants.
