The MAP Academy invites you to attend the fifth presentation in its 2014-15 Methodology Applications Series, “Developing Better Questionnaires and Measures: Psychometric Review.”

This presentation is the final installment of our three-part series integrating practical strategies and best practices in questionnaire and measurement development from the fields of psychometrics, survey research and educational psychology. It will provide a conceptual overview and applied examples of the psychometric review process.

Participants will be exposed to a variety of measurement concepts related to reliability, generalizability and validity. Specific topics will include misuses of coefficient alpha, construct validation, examples of validation procedures and model-testing approaches to validation.
