Supporting KC, a team of sports media communication and advertising and public relations capstone students, is hosting a FIFA video game tournament on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, from 5-8 p.m.

The team collaborated with UNL’s Sports Media Club to help raise brand awareness for their client Sporting KC and for their league, Major League Soccer (MLS). Sporting KC is a men’s professional soccer club based in Kansas City, Missouri.

The event will feature multiple simultaneous FIFA games on PlayStation and Xbox systems. Additionally, there will be food, drinks, trivia and prizes, and the tournament winner will win free Sporting KC tickets.

Sign-ups are first come, first serve and registering for the tournament doesn’t guarantee a spot in it— additional information will be shared with registrants closer to the tournament date.
