The Daily News is a family-owned news organization with a six-day-a-week newspaper and comprehensive online, mobile and social media presence. Looking for a chance to cover a little bit of everything, whether it be breaking news, county fairs or community events? A summer reporting internship with the Norfolk Daily News is open to talented writers interested in working closely with the newsroom of a family-owned community newspaper. In addition to covering community events and generating general assignment stories, interns assist reporters in covering news events and breaking news. The Daily News has an opening for a full-time paid position for the summer, ranging from mid- to late May until early August, typically around 10 to 12 weeks. The internship would entail 40-hour work weeks.
