Our 4-H Youth Development Program of Douglas-Sarpy counties is a winner! Yes, we are a Best of Omaha winner for 2017. We were chosen for this award, and as a result, we will be present at the Best of Omaha celebration, this Sunday, November 5, from 1:00 – 5:00 pm at Baxter Arena.

We will receive 100 percent of the paid door cash revenue plus the registration fees from the puppy pageant (No longer accepting entries. They are full!) More importantly, we will have a tremendous opportunity to spread the good news of 4-H and recruit new youth and families!

We have many ways you can help us make this a great event for 4-H.

1. We have a booth, and we are asking for help staffing it on Sunday, November 5. We need people to circulate and talk about “all things 4-H.” There is no limit to how you can help be the voice of Metro 4-H at this event! We need your sparkle.

2. We also need to gather a crew to help stuff “swag bags” that will be given out on Sunday. “Bag stuffing” will happen at the Best of Omaha building (5921 South 118th Circle, Suite 100), this Thursday, November 2, from 12:30 -8:00 p.m., and Friday starting at 12:30 p.m.

Best of Omaha is generating income for us, and the exposure offers us the ability to reach a large audience. This is a great opportunity to share the value of 4-H in the Metro and recruit new members!
