Eggers is a self-proclaimed math and computer nerd who took a business path. As the head of Nara Logics, she is active in customer-inspired innovation; the artificial intelligence industry; and autonomy, mastery and purpose-style leadership. In her talk, she will address the ways AI is already present in people’s lives, helping the audience understand what it is, where it’s heading and why people should embrace it.

Brittany Duncan, assistant professor of computer science and engineering at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, will give a pre-talk at 6:30 p.m. in the Lied Center’s Steinhart Room. Duncan’s research focuses on human-robot interaction, artificial intelligence and unmanned systems. She will discuss how AI is present in people’s lives and global privacy implications related to it.

Events are streamed here. The Feb. 26 lecture will be streamed on LNKTV City and available live on ALLO channel 2, Charter Spectrum 1300 and Windstream Kinetic 1005. It will also be accessible on campus channel 4 and KRNU radio 90.3 FM. The talk will be interpreted for people who are deaf and hard of hearing.
