Siobhan Wescott, assistant director of Indians into Medicine at the University of North Dakota’s School of Medical and Health Sciences, will present “How Do You Find Research on Native Americans? Untangling the Confusing Search Terms and Identifying Gaps in the Research.” A reception will follow the talk.
The exhibition, produced by the National Library of Medicine, explores the connections among wellness, illness and cultural life through interviews with Native people, as well as artwork, objects and interactive media.
The exhibition will be open to the public from Jan. 31 through March 12.
