Dr. Prakash Balan, a key founder of this funding opportunity, will lead a Zoom workshop for those interested in applying. All graduate students and faculty in the STEM fields are encouraged to attend.
As part of NSF’s effort to advance the STEM workforce, a supplemental funding opportunity is available to provide graduate students with experiential learning opportunities through research internships in such organizations as startup businesses, small and large corporations, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations. A key goal is to allow graduate students to acquire professional skills to support careers in any sector of the U.S. economy.
