The Community Crops Family Service Lincoln is a non-profit organization that provides education, advocacy and experiences to grow local food. Community Crops is offering the following FREE Urban Grower Class this summer:
August 12th, 10am, at the Gere Library Community Garden: Make Your Own Compost!
Learn how to build and maintain your own compost pile with composting experts from the Nebraska Extension Master Gardener program! We will build a new compost pile at this class and learn how to care for it. Basic composting science and troubleshooting of commonly seen issues will be discussed.
