You are invited to a Sept. 26 celebration in recognition of a five-year, $15 million grant for the Mid-America Transportation Center to serve as the transportation research and workforce development hub for the U.S. Department of Transportation Region 7, which includes Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri and Kansas.

The celebration is 9:30-10:30 a.m., in the Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center, Ubuntu Room (room 202), with a reception following. This event is open to the university community and project collaborators. The project is led by Aemal Khattak, center director and professor of civil and environmental engineering.
