Dr. Anna Beaudin is an Associate Professor and the Vice Chief of Research in the Division of Hematology at the University of the Utah School of Medicine. She received her PhD in Nutritional Science at Cornell University and completed her postdoctoral studies in hematopoietic stem cell biology at UC Santa Cruz. Her lab at the University of Utah investigates developmental programming of disease susceptibility by studying the response of fetal hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells to developmental perturbation, including prenatal inflammation, infection and modulation of maternal nutrition. Her work has been supported by NIH, the Pew Biomedical Scholars Award, and the Hellman Fellows Award.
