A FREE monthly lab techniques workshop has been created here at UNL to allow students to familiarize themselves with frequently used lab techniques.

These workshops will help you learn more about the techniques researchers use every day in a lab setting such as: using and calibrating pipettes, working with 96-well plates and tissue-culture plates, using small lab machines (centrifuges, vortexes, plate readers, water baths, etc.), and learning how to make stock solutions of chemicals.

Our next workshop is Workshop #4: Stock Solutions and Media Making. It will be on Thursday, May 11th at 5:30 pm-7:30 pm in Beadle E121.1
