The December meeting of the OLLI Politics Interest Group will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 21 at Stauffer’s Cafe. Joe Seewald will be leading the December discussion. Among the topics will be:

1. The new tax bill. Is it fair? Who are the winners and losers? Will we really be able to file our taxes on a post card? Is a tax overhaul needed?

2. A moral crisis. Are we in a moral crisis with all the sexual abuse charges coming from many sectors of our society? Entertainment, news media, members of our government and Air Force Academy are all in the news with women making charges.

3. UNL and free speech. The case of the conservative student activist. This story continues.

4. New Football Coach. Is everybody happy with our new coach?

5. The election in Alabama.

All Olli members are welcome to come and participant. There’s no need to register, just come on over to Stauffer’s for some coffee, pie and politics.
