The International Affairs Discussion Group will meet on Wednesday, Feb. 5, 3 p.m. at Stauffer’s Cafe and Pie Shoppe, 5600 So. 48th St.
In a year that is the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, and with rising levels of anti-semitism today, guest speakers will discuss the varieties and frequencies of anti-semitism in Europe and North America.
Guest speakers will be David Cahan, retired professor of History, and Jean Cahan, senior lecturer in philosophy and Director of Judaic Studies at UNL. They will speak on anti-semitism in Europe, followed by questions and discussion.
