The February meeting of the OLLI Politics Interest Group will be held on Thursday, Feb. 20, 3 p.m. at Stauffer’s Cafe and Pie Shoppe, 5600 S. 48th Street. All OLLI members who like to talk politics are welcome to attend.
There certainly is a wealth of topics to talk about this month. John Comer will be leading the discussion. He can enlighten us on the impeachment outcome, the current status of the contenders in the Democratic presidential race, the Unicameral’s discussion of the Revenue Committee’s property tax relief bill, the results of the Lincoln Public Schools bond issue vote and any other topics that come to mind.
Interest Group members who traveled to Council Bluffs can report on their impressions of the Iowa Caucus and the confusing aftermath.
