George Holmes Distinguished Professor John A. Woollam is the founder of J.A. Woollam Co. Spun out of his research in 1987, Woollam Co. is a world leader in Spectroscopic Ellipsometry headquartered just south of the Haymarket. In this conversation, John will share his unique experiences with startups, tech transfers, research, and the human element underpinning it all.
