Staff are invited to participate in a group read and book discussion. The first 20 Student Affairs staff members to indicate interest will receive a book, courtesy of the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, and agree to be part of the book discussion this fall. The book will be “Change Your World: How Anyone, Anywhere Can Make a Difference” by John C. Maxwell and Rob Hoskins.

The fall has brought about change in a variety of ways. As we have created a framework for diversity, equity and inclusion that will enhance our learning and development, it will be important for us all to envision how we can each make a positive difference. This book discussion will provide an opportunity for our diverse staff to come together and engage in conversations, share experiences and expand ways of thinking outside the box.

If you are interested in this activity please contact Vicki Highstreet at vhighstreet1@unl.edu by September 27.

The reading schedule will be as follows:
October 12 - Chapters 1 & 2
October 26 - Chapters 3 & 4
November 9 - Chapters 5 & 6
November 30 - Chapters 7 & 8
December 7 - Chapter 9
