“A Beautiful Remedy” profiles the Arts in Medicine program at the University of Texas MD Children’s Hospital. Directed by arist in residence Ian Cion, Arts in Medicine provides art programming to pediatric, adolescent, and young adult patients and their families. How can the making and viewing of art help participants transform their social and physical realities? How do artful encounters enlarge the scope of traditional medical practices?
