The arrival of hundreds of thousands of migratory Sandhill Cranes on Nebraska’s Platte River is one of the greatest wildlife spectacles on the continent. Join us for a day of hiking and guided bird-watching trail as we experience the awe-inspiring scene of more than 80 percent of the world’s Sandhill Crane population converging on the Platte River Valley.

Cost includes a lesson from a nature guide, two hours of access to an up-close bird viewing blind, transportation, and dinner. Viewing the cranes is recommended for any bucket list of things to do in Nebraska.

Event date: March 30, 2024
Time: 3-11 p.m.
Registration deadline is March 26, 2024.
