A reception for the exhibit will be held at 4:30 p.m., with brief presentations from students in “ANTH 292: Stitching Culture: U.S.-Japan Quilt Exhibit Collaborative” at 5:00 p.m. The exhibit features complex textiles that share the rich imagery, both indigenous and cross-cultural, that Guna women have long incorporated into their stitched handiwork. Students and a faculty member visiting from Saitama University in Japan collaborated with University of Nebraska-Lincoln students to develop the exhibit.

The exhibit runs through November 15.
