This conference will explore the ways that social determinants of health affect a wide range of health, functioning, and quality-of-life outcomes and risks in our communities in Nebraska. The theme also allows us to better explore concepts that are intrinsically intertwined with SDOH such as health care access and quality, neighborhood and built environment, health care policy, social, cultural, and community context and so much more. Presenters will review local, regional, and national health equity data, share important tools and community resources, and provide strategies to improve awareness and outcomes. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about and strategize with experts to improve health outcomes for underserved and minoritized communities in Nebraska.
