This workshop will help you understand how to effectively give presentations and improve your public speaking skills. We will begin with a presentation about public speaking in academic and non-academic settings, followed by an interactive small-group session where students will have a chance to give a short, 5-minute presentation and then receive feedback from the other participants in their breakout room.

Students will need to prepare a 5-minute presentation for this workshop. It can be over any workplace appropriate topic, and students will be able to use a PowerPoint if they submit it ahead of time. Due to the interactive nature of this workshop, students will need to be able to use a microphone and camera.
