The Nebraska Statewide Arboretum will join the Schramm Education Center (21502 W. Highway 31, Gretna) in partnership with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) Bee Lab, Nebraska Extension and the UNL Entomology Department for their annual Pollinator Party family event on Saturday, June 24th from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. This free event is taking place as part of a statewide celebration of Nebraska Pollinator Week. Activities for all ages will be set up outside and in the Schramm Education Center Classroom.
In addition to the mini plant sale hosted by the Nebraska Statewide Arboretum, other activities and exhibits will include:
• Live honey bees, bumble bees and other insects; plus a sensory hive exploration and a drone petting zoo!
• A prairie bioblitz
• Pollinator crafts and games
• Honey taste testing and sales
• Garden and urban entomology experts
• Face and painting
• And more!

Additional Public Info:
Participation in the event is free, but regular admission costs will apply for any visitors wishing to explore the Education Center in addition to the event. A state park vehicle permit is not required in the Education Center parking lot.
