As we see the devastation of the severe weather and flooding in Nebraska and adjacent states, each of us individually responds in our own way – donating supplies or money or helping in other ways. We have many students in our college who reside in the counties affected by this severe flooding and it is difficult to imagine if our own family home was destroyed, or our farm and livestock and how that might affect us in so many ways.

What can we do as a college? Join me on Tuesday, March 26 at either 8:30 am or 3:00 pm in the Gallery for a discussion to propose positive actions (especially those based on our areas of expertise) we can take to help. Come with your ideas, or to listen and react. Our intention is to develop a coordinated response in conjunction with the university.
