Clare Twomey is actively involved in critical research in the area of the applied arts, including writing, curating and making. She is one of three researchers working on an ambitious three year project entitled “Ceramics in the Expanded Field: Behind the Scenes at the Museum” which is reexamining the role of ceramics in contemporary art, its social and cultural relevance, and the relationship between art, museums and audience.

Clare Twomey’s visit to UNL is made possible by the Hixson-Lied Endowment.
