Mark your calendars for the 2017 Nebraska Grazing Lands Coalition (NGLC) - Nebraska Extension Summer Grazing Tour scheduled for Tuesday, June 13 in south central Nebraska. This year’s tour will feature two grazing operations with three stops that have a long history of effective grazing management. Tour stops include the Bruning Cow Camp near Reynolds, John Lange Land and Cattle near Belvidere and the Bruning Family Headquarters near Bruning.

The tour includes continental breakfast and boxed lunch plus an evening steak fry sponsored by Bruning Family Farms. Pre-register by June 6 by calling the Furnas County Extension office at 308-268-3105 or contacting Erin Laborie, UNL Beef Systems Extension Educator at erin.laborie@unl.edu. Cost is $20 per person paid upon arrival.

For those coming from the east, registration is at the Fairbury Livestock Auction. For those coming from the west, registration is at the first tour stop at the Bruning Cow Camp.
