Horse Level Reminders - *ALL HOLT AND BOYD COUNTY HORSE EXHIBITORS (does not matter the age of the 4-H’er) must have PASSED Horse Level I to compete in any Horse Classes at either County Fair. The number one reason is for SAFETY! Horse Level I goes over basic horse handling, horse safety (on the ground, and/or while riding) as well as riding courtesy. This is for the safety of ALL participants and their horses.
Horse Level I & II will be required to participate in any classes with Live Cattle at the Holt County Fair.
Blaire Speck - 4-H Educator will offer Horse Level Classes on April 25 at 6:00pm at the Holt County Courthouse Annex, O’Neill. 4-H’ers will have the opportunity to take the test after class if they feel prepared. Register for Horse Advancement Level Preparation Class at bspeck2@unl.edu by April 18.
