“Multitasking in the mitochondrion by the AAA+ Lon protease” will be presented by Carolyn Suzuki.

Carolyn K. Suzuki is an sssociate professor in the Department of Microbiology, Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics at New Jersey Medical School, Rutgers University. She received her Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins University, working with Richard D. Klausner, M.D., at the National Institutes of Health, and was a post-doctoral fellow with Gottfried Schatz, Ph.D., at the Biozentrum in Basel, Switzerland. Her research focuses on the regulatory functions of mitochondrial ATP-dependent proteases in human health and disease.
