Join the Office of Research and Economic Development for the first Faculty Connector of the Academic year. This month discussion will focus on Fostering Global Connections with Fulbright.

The Fulbright Program, the United States government’s flagship program of international educational and cultural exchange, offers passionate and accomplished scholars and students in more than 160 countries the opportunity to study, teach, conduct research, exchange ideas, and contribute to mutual understanding.

The September Faculty Connector will provide an opportunity to hear about the different programs Fulbright offers and feature Valerie Jones (College of Journalism and Mass Communications) who recently returned from a Fulbright U.S. Scholar award to Australia. The Connector will also spotlight institutional support around Fulbright for UNL faculty.

The Faculty Connectors are designed to be an opportunity for learning and connection with peers in an informal setting. Each month features a different topic and engagement opportunity. Faculty and post docs are welcome to attend this in-person event.
